Cellarhouse : electronic downtempo band from Norwich (UK), New York and Northern Spain. Cellarhouse produce dark electronica that features driving synths, simple beats and orchestral textures which are incredibly powerful and exhilarating. Formed during the pandemic of 2020 they have, to date, released seven EP's and one celebrated album: Hard Times. Cellarhouse’s debut album builds on their success with the underground alternative EDM scene. They’re a four-piece band with members from all corners of the world: New York, Norwich (UK) Northern Spain and Brazil. They describe their sound as eclectic electro-house with an undercurrent of menace. Their sound is hard to define, or label, and this shape-shifting genre of a band always defy their last release to surprise and confuse. Their debut album Hard Times followed the release of several EP's and delivered eleven down-tempo tracks of angst, love and twisted emotions
However, in 2024 they released two EPs which again, contrasted with previous EP's. These two new offerings experimented with upbeat alternative R&B and electro-pop. Their Kitchen Tunes and Superhuman EPs moved them in a new direction with ironic takes on modern electro-pop productions, and hard edged social comment.
